Marco Diaz is the SVP, Global Head of Benefits for News Corp. He holds primary responsibility for setting the long-term design trajectory, operational delivery, and competitive benchmark positioning of global employee benefit programs across News Corp’s portfolio of independent business units. His oversight spans a comprehensive suite of health and welfare plans alongside serving as an active fiduciary committee member managing over $4B in institutional Defined Contribution and Defined Benefit pension assets. Throughout his career, Marco has focused on driving continuous digital benefits evolution and partnering with healthcare and fintech innovators to shape emerging point solutions around unique population needs.
Marco also serves on the Boards of the Business Group on Health, the Northeast Business Group on Health, and The Foundation for Art & Healing. Additionally, he has collaborated with innovative leaders across the industry, participating on the executive client advisory councils for firms including Fidelity, Aetna, Included Health, Wellthy, Progyny, and Avante.
Prior to joining News Corp, Marco spent over a decade at Thomson Reuters Corporation, Inc., where he directed the regional strategic architecture, health plan data analysis, and benefits modernization frameworks across the Americas footprint.
