How do you hope this screening will impact your community? What does success look like?
Will the screening be open to the public, or will it be a private, invitation-only event?
Find 2-3 short films that speak to your audience and align with your goals. The Project UnLonely Films library is a great place to start!
Send an invitation with a Zoom link or in-person meeting instructions. Make sure your meeting space is comfortable and accessible to all!
Share the who, what, where, when, and why of your event through social media posts, email newsletters, physical flyers, and more
Keep folks hydrated and nourished during the event. Identify any allergies or sensitivities in advance.
Encourage participants to notice their thoughts and feelings as they watch.
Try open-ended questions like:
