What kind of store or business could you open that would allow you to “work with something that you love;” and create “a fantasy job?” Draw the storefront you imagine, write the name on the window, and if you’d like, sketch the floorplan for what is inside. You decide how much further to take it.

WHY THEY MADE THE FILM

“Part of it was to prove to myself I could tell a story without the bells and whistles of VFX. The other part of it was paying tribute to my hometown in a small way; focusing on a small business that adds to what Los Angeles is.”

Loved this film. Very calming…like a bookstore. I’m an e-booker…my husband loves the experience of holding the book, feeling and turning the pages, listening to the sound of the page turning. He loves the smell of books. He is a voracious reader. Sometimes 2-3 books a week. This bookstore would be his “candy store”! Congratulations and good luck. So so glad you chose “life” after your accident.

I wish we had nearby a similar type of bookstore that offers such a welcomed environment. The Last Book Store,” seems to embody the spirit out of which it was created by Josh. Always love stories of redemption and transformation born out of what may seem like loss but in actuality is what we all seek as humans, peace with what is.

Wow. I needed this film. I’ve been a book nerd and amateur philosopher for years. I would love to work, here. I’ve been dealing with anxiety and depression for years. Seeing how you dealt with your life inspires me!
