Anushka is a junior at the University of Florida studying Biology and Anthropology and has been involved in many art forms since a young age, receiving training in both Indian and Western classical music and dance. Anushka hopes to use this opportunity to gain further insight into loneliness in young adults and how it can manifest both mentally and physically. She aspires to use her experience with the arts and her knowledge about social determinants of health to facilitate meaningful connection between peers on campus. Outside of FAH, Anushka volunteers at a free community clinic to connect patients with resources and conducts research at a VA Medical Center. She enjoys playing music, reading, hiking, and is always on the lookout for her next Lego set!
