PROJECT UNLONELY FILMS Season 9

As a lifelong dog owner, I’ve always understood the special role animals play in our lives. Learning about the impact of the dogs at Project Kenny opened my eyes to the profound strength of their bond with veterans. These dogs are not just companions—they are lifelines, helping heal emotional scars and giving veterans the courage to face daily challenges. I made A Dog Can Make A Difference to showcase the life-saving connection between service dogs and veterans with PTSD and highlight the incredible work of Project Kenny. My hope is that this film gives a voice to those struggling in silence and encourages veterans to seek the support they deserve.

What a beautiful film. Thank you so much for bringing awareness to such an important topic. You captured the hearts of the service men and of Carol. Her story, their stories. Those beautiful angels that walk beside them with joy and presence and “no judgment.” Just love. Bravo. R.I.P. Bobby and blessings and gratitude to all the service men and women everywhere. You are no forgotten. Thank you Spencer.
A beautiful and important piece of filmmaking. Bravo!
Isn’t it a rather curious coincidence that the word “god” is the exact same word as “dog” when the letters are reversed, and isn’t it equally that “dog” has earned the nearly universal reputation of being “man’s best friend”. . . thank you for making this beautiful tribute to “man’s BFF – Best Friend Forever”.
