Free Spirit Studio (May 21, 2012) – Every year, an astounding number of women and girls are abused domestically and sexually. Because of their traumatic experiences, these survivors are at risk of shutting themselves out of the world and from their family and friends, unwilling to express themselves or tell others how they feel because something dear and precious was violated. This documentary explores how art therapy can help heal victims of gender-based violence.
